What People's Say About Place

This spot is such a delight - tucked away in the historic nook of DTLA (off W 4th & S Harlem Pl), boasting a menu that is as delicious as it is creatively titled, PI ^LA is a must try on your pizza experience bucket list. Service was excellent and so was the vibe. They opened the spot for an event being hosted next door, so it was extra cozy when i visited as a guest. We all Had a top tier experience. Can’t wait to stop in next time I’m nearby

Without fail, every time I visit downtown LA from Australia, I visit PI^L.A. Good deep dish pizza is hard to find down under so this place is extra special! Top notch service, cold beers, cool interior decor. They also bake incredible choc chip cookies

Very good deep pizza. The sauce was tasty and generous. The toppings were quality. The crust had structure and flavor. On one the edges were a little tough but other just fine. You can order half pizzas to get some variety. Our server, Debra, was personable and welcoming.

I was exploring DTLA and stumbled upon this gem. It’s like deep dish pizza, but the dough is lighter in texture, which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend the Lil’ Red Corvette pizza with pepperoni. If you want a splash of spice and crunch, sprinkle a little “chili crunch” on top. When I arrived at 12 noon, the doors were closed, but Fred (I think that was his name) was very welcoming and let me in. I would highly recommend this place. There’s a good parking structure nearby, with a back exit that is only about 20 feet to PI^LA.

I’m on vacation from New Zealand and of all the places I’ve travelled to, this is hands down the BEST pizza I’ve ever tasted. The pizza base was so fluffy and the flavour’s are (chef’s kiss) amazing. This is the red corvette pizza (similar to Margarita pizza) 100000% recommend!! The owner or worker who served us was so kind and nice and I can tell he appreciates each and every 1 of his customer’s. Thank you!

I was nearby and looking for a pizza spot. Luckily this was walking distance from where I was. We ordered the “Seoul Kitchen” and the “Gtx Muscle Car.” The Seoul was the best pizza I’ve had that was deep dish style. The flavors were so complex but they all came together for a phenomenal pizza. The gtx was also a solid pepperoni option that would be a great choice if you want to stick to more of a traditional topping. Id definitely come back again and try their other menu items. There’s tons of seating and right next door is “The Continental.”

Got the half GTX muscle car (pepperoni, sausage, overall deliciousness) and enjoyed the lunch discount, which is from open till I believe 5pm. As you can see in my pic, the pizza was delicious. I really enjoyed the crispy cheesy edges of it, and the service was kind. Quick in / out for takeout, but I’ll be back for dine-in soon!

As I was heading back from Grand Central Market I wanted to start getting in on the LA pizza scene and good lead me here. It's no joke this spot is kind of hidden and located in a back alley. However, the pizza here is pretty satisfying. The crust is very crispy and light. The sauce is not overly sweet and has a good robust tomato flavor. If I had to critique anything it would be the pepperoni needing just a little more crisp. Bonus points for providing some chili oil with the pizza to give it a bit more punch. The vibe of the place gives me an old school diner vibe with a bit of modernization to it. If you're in the mood for pizza and you're in dtla it is worth hitting up.
